Single Screw technology is the ultimate in compression.  

Thanks to the balanced forces on the main rotor and vastly oversized bearings for the satellites, compressors developed on the basis of Single Screw are particularly able to withstand high differential pressures.  The result is significantly lower maintenance frequencies than for other compressor technologies.

Vilter's Single Screw compressors are equipped with a Parallex (TM) slide valve system that is unique in the world: this system allows the compressor's swept volume and Vi (compression ratio) to be adjusted independently.  The compressor will always operate in the best possible conditions and always offer the best COP.

Vilter's Single Screw design is not susceptible to damage from liquid droplets. This eliminates the inefficiencies associated with overheating management common in other systems.
